Warehouses & storagePage 2
Racking, storage aisles and warehouse buildings show how goods occupy space before dispatch. For a purchasing order, the important record connects that space to your products: supplier references, carton counts, labels and the agreed checks.

Keep an order identity
Agree a reference for each supplier and product line. Ask for carton counts and visible labels to be recorded at receipt.
Define the check
An arrival photograph, a count and a product inspection answer different questions. Specify the check, sample size and reporting format before goods arrive.
Control the release
Reconcile the goods received with what is approved for dispatch. Record any shortage, damage or item waiting for a decision before consolidation.
For your order
Prepare one stock record with supplier, product, cartons received, check status and cartons released. Resolve differences before asking for the final shipping arrangement.
